Saint-Gaudens Memorial
The Saint-Gaudens Memorial, a partner and advocate for the Saint-Gaudens National Historical Park (SGNHP) in Cornish, NH, marks its 100th year in 2019. The park features the home, studios, gardens, and artworks of preeminent sculptor and NSS founding member, Augustus Saint-Gaudens (1848-1907). Saint-Gaudens is best known for his Civil War monuments and his US $10 and $20 gold coins. The Memorial and SGNHP will observe this centennial milestone together over the course of the summer with special awards, programs, musical offerings, and exhibitions.
Saint-Gaudens National Historical Park is located 12 miles south of West Lebanon, New Hampshire, and 11 miles north of Claremont, New Hampshire, on NH route 12A. The park’s museum buildings are open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Memorial Day weekend through the end of October. The park’s grounds are open from dawn to dusk throughout the year.
