Toby Mendez, FNSS is creating a tribute to fly fishing legend, Bernard “Lefty” Kreh. On September 10th, the Friends of Lefty Kreh will hold an unveiling ceremony of the memorial statue’s maquette.

Several groups and individuals including the Potomac Valley Fly Fishers, the Ausherman Foundation, journalist Tom Brokaw and actor Michael Keaton have contributed to the project. The statue will be located in Kreh’s hometown, Frederick, MD.

Mendez has completed several monuments in Maryland, including the Thurgood Marshall Memorial and statues in Camden Yards.
