In mid-September, Mark Lundeen’s pronghorn antelope sculpture, The Loper, was installed on the University of Nebraska Kearney campus.  The  buck is the UNK’s mascot and the bronze version weighs over 1,200 pounds and stands roughly 10-feet tall. Lundeen, who is an Elected Member of NSS, is a graduate of UNK and his sculpture is located at the Nebraska school’s new 26th Street Mall area.
