NSS Fellow, Janice Mauro, has work included in RPAC Gallery’s exhibition “Natural Beauty.” The work on display is somewhat of a retrospective but does include several carvings created during the pandemic. The exhibition opened on January 13 and runs through March 13 at the Ridgefield, CT showplace.  “I believe a regard to the spiritual, or at least a sensitive awareness is always somehow inherent in everything I create,” says Mauro. “My sculptures often suggest narratives. Attitude and gesture imply a host of scenarios that both resonate with the viewer on a personal level, and stimulate their imagination to realms beyond their own experiences.”  The show may be seen virtually as well, HERE.
