Ford Sculpture Dedication
The Edsel & Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores, MI unveiled a bronze sculpture that honors the 100th anniversary of the wedding of Edsel and Eleanor Ford. The unveiling, which took place on Monday, June 13th, revealed a life-sized sculpture of the pair walking arm-in-arm.
Edsel Ford was the son of auto pioneer Henry Ford. The addition of the sculpture is part of the Ford House’s 2016 “A Century of Love” celebration.
Brooklyn, New York-based StudioEIS designed the 500 pound sculpture, which was cast at Bollinger Atelier foundry in Arizona.
